Meet the Pastor
Pastor Tim Kelly grew up on a dairy farm on the Oregon coast. He played two years of college hoops at Western Oregon State University, eventually graduating from Oregon State University. Wanting to help college students grow spiritually, he worked for ten years for Campus Crusade for Christ in Colorado and Chile.
While living in Denver, one of Tim's friends set him up on a blind coffee date, a date that would forever change his life. He met and married Lisa, and they moved to Philadelphia, where Tim graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. After four cold winters in the Northeast, they were thrilled to relocate to the Valley of the Sun, where Tim pastored for two years. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry from Phoenix Theological Seminary. His wife Lisa is a television news journalist who may be seen locally on CBS 5 News.
Tim feels privileged that God has led him to start Genesis from the ground up. He and Lisa have three beautiful children, ages 4 and under. Please feel free to contact Pastor Tim at for more information.
