FAMILY BLESSING SERVICE

On Mother's Day, May 11, we will have our very first Family Blessing Service. We hope this will become a memorable tradition at Genesis, a time where parents can dedicate their children to the Lord and commit themselves to raise those children in a Godly home, supported by the church family.

In the Bible, many of our Old Testament forefathers (Adam, Joseph, Abraham, Isaac, David, Jacob) often blessed each one of their children. When we publicly bless our children, this affirms their importance and value to God, and reminds them that they are His child, too.
